Early Morning Rush

So after not receiving an email notification for the Blackboard post at 10pm concerning lab 8am the next day, guess who was part of the lucky first group for critical skill evaluation of IV push? That’s right, this girl.

So after a bathroom trip to gather my thoughts, review the procedure, and panic-text my boyfriend. . . Thank God for fellow nursing students. When push comes to shove, we band together to survive. People with lab books make copies for those who left theirs at home, people who go first give advice to those who follow, everyone calms everyone else’s nerves. Even the kid who annoyingly asked me questions over and over about the drug calculations and just didn’t “get it” was so helpful in returning the favor by making sure I had all the supplies I would need.

Thank God for fellow nursing students when we band together. Amen.
