About Me

My name is Bolana, and I am a registered nurse on a step down critical care unit at a large community hospital in the northeastern United States. In my off time, I am a foodie, coffee connoisseur, equestrian, arts & culture buff, and bibliophile (and former library aide) trying to figure out this thing called “adulting.”

I started this blog in my second semester of nursing school at community college to explore the trials and tribulations of nursing school–the coffee, the professors, the exams, the clinicals, the carpooling, the catheters. . . but certainly no sleep.

This blog contains posts with helpful hints, funny tid-bits, and everything nursey from my journey through nursing school and now as a graduate nurse starting my first job.

Yours truly,

-Bolana, RN
